Dental bridge is a prosthetic restoration which your dentist will directly attach on prepared teeth or dental implants in order to restore your teeth with a dental based adhesive.

Dental bridges are usually made of metal, resin, ceramic or porcelain, porcelain fused to metal.

Metal bridges made of gold alloys or other metal alloys- best option for back tooth region as they withstand biting and chewing forces well, the main draw back with these materials is aesthetics.

Resin- is the least expensive of all the materials to make a dental bridge. Have drawbacks like it cannot with stand stress and is prone to fracture, wears down easily.

Ceramic or porcelain bridges- mostly advisable for front tooth region. Because of their texture and color, they blend easily with natural teeth. Best suits patients with metal allergies, is aesthetically pleasant.

Porcelain fused to metal- porcelain fused to metal dental bridges provides the patients with the best of both worlds. The metal underneath provides better strength and the porcelain above it is aesthetically pleasing.
