What happens during procedure-?
- Your dentist will initially administer local anesthesia.
- They will then expose the laser light will onto the pigmented gingival surface in a continuous contact mode with the overlapping circles motion.
- Furthermore your surgeon will then wipe the area with gauze soaked in normal saline.
- They usually do the procedure till the pigments do not remain.
- This procedure does not require any periodontal dressing or antibiotics prescription.
- It usually takes 20 to 25 minutes to do this procedure.
- Similarly the patient will only require 3 subsequent visits, after one week, one month and then 3 months.
